Hi, I’m David Clark, founder of CurvedView.com and you could say televisions are not only a personal passion but a career. I know the ins and outs of the TV industry.

I have been in the electronics industry for more years than I would like to admit. I’ve worked with a couple of the major manufacturers and a few large retailers.

Our Mission

Our mission is to educate consumers and help each find the perfect HDTV, at the best price, for their personal viewing preference. Whether that is a TV for watching movies, viewing live sports events, or playing the hottest video games on a big-screen HDTV.

TV technology is rapidly changing. Much of the information available is highly technical and confusing.

I aim to break it down into easy-to-understand concepts so that you can be confident in your choice and selection.

How CurvedView.com Is Different

CurvedView is different in three ways. First, we believe that it is critical to base our reviews on the merits of the product, and nothing else. Unlike many websites, we do not get the HDTVs and accessories we review directly from the manufacturers.

Our test TVs are from retail stores. This means our units aren’t handpicked by the manufacturers, but actually represent the products you would buy yourself.

Second, we do not just provide a general overall rating for each HDTV.  Each TV receives a separate rating for how they display media for TV/Movies, Sports, and Video Games.

Finally, many sites do not provide any pricing (other than MSRP) or only provide pricing from Amazon.  They are basically sites that are built for the primary purpose of earning commissions from Amazon.com.  At CurvedView, we search many trusted online (and sometimes offline) sources to help you find the best possible deal for the product that you choose.

How Do We Pay The Bills
